Congratulations Thomas Sullivan...  Originally shared by Jeff Sullivan Photo by a 13-Year-Old Wins Cover of Leading Astrophotography Book Congratulations to my son Thomas Sullivan, now 14, for having the Royal Observatory, Greenwich select his photo for the cover of the Astronomy Photographer of the Year Collection 2009 - 2012, Japanese Edition.    Thomas has two photos in the book from the 2012 Astronomy Photographer of the Year competition.  His sister Nicole Sullivan and I each have one awarded photo in the book from the 2011 competition.  Nicole had the additional honor of having a film crew sent by the Royal Observatory to interview her in 2011: https://vimeo.com/28740663 We'll be out pursuing new astrophotography photos in the days around Thanksgiving with my father Doug Sullivan as well... three generations!  He just took up night photography earlier this year when he bought a Canon T5i, and we bought him a tripod for his birthday.  We're looking forward to many sleep-d
