Total Lunar Eclipse September 27, 2015 The partly cloudy forecast and webcam images didn't look all that promising in the Eastern Sierra yesterday afternoon, so I ditched my plans to pursue one of several compositions that I had worked out, and I stayed home to see if the moon would make any appearance at all.  Here's the story and some of my results from the event: http://activesole.blogspot.com/2015/09/total-lunar-eclipse-september-27-2015.html #lunareclipse   #bloodmoon   #september  #2015 #astronomy   #astrophotography   #nightphotography

Fall Colors September 2014 Fall colors are progressing nicely in the Eastern Sierra, but wind may be a concern, so check status updates and the latest photos from Parcher's Resort:  http://parchersresort.net/fallcolor.htm More 2014 fall colors photos on my blog:  http://activesole.blogspot.com/2014/09/eastern-sierra-fall-colors-report-September-2014.html #fallcolors   #Easternsierra  #2014 #September
