Total Lunar Eclipse Tomorrow Night April 14-15, 2014 Depending upon where you live on the planet, a lunar eclipse will occur starting either late April 14 or in the early morning hours of April 15. Most of these shots were captured during the lunar eclipse December 21, 2010. I used a Canon 5D Mark II with EF 16-35mm f/2.8 lens on the wide angle shots to capture a time-lapse movie, and I used my old 10 megapixel Canon 40D with 70-200mm lens and 2X teleconverter to pursue telephoto shots and track exposure changes. Here are some ideas on shots you can pursue during a lunar eclipse: http://activesole.blogspot.com/2011/12/lunar-eclipse-photography-dec-10-2011.html Using a planning tool such as PhotoPills ( https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/photopills/id596026805?mt=8&uo=4&at=10ldnC ) you can even line the moon up with natural or man-made landmarks, like I did during the lunar eclipse on December 10, 2011 in San Francisco: http://activesole.blogspot.com/2011/12/chasing-moon-luna
