“Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world’s great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs. I am haunted by waters.” - Norman Maclean, "A River Runs Through It" #plusphotoextract
What a great shot.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful shot!
ReplyDeletevery beautiful !! I love it !!
ReplyDeleteCan you please tell me how this shot was taken? Is this a composite shot? Was the moon added later?
ReplyDeleteIf you take a quick look at this pic , real quick one, imagine a dolphin and a ball or my imagination is running away with me ?? :)
ReplyDeleteSaad Alvi On 12 or 13 days per year, usually the day before the full moon, the moon rises just before or during sunset. I was lucky to be waiting for sunset here in Yosemite National Park. The moon moves a lot from north to south during the year, so this alignment may be available maybe one or two days yer year. I've gone back to re-shoot this with my latest camera, and so far the weather has not cooperated. You can identify exact days and times for alignments like this using The Photographer's Ephemeris, which runs on a Google Earth satellite photo of the landscape you'll be shooting in!
