    Thanks Jemal,Naheswaran, Vinoth and Philippe! This is of course "The Wave" in Northern Arizona. I spent a lot of time in 2006-2009 exploring the geography covered in Laurent Martres' "Photographing the Southwest" series of landscape photography guide books... now I'm researching and writing one for him!

Orionid Meteor Shower Last Saturday Morning (HD Timelapse Video) The Orionid Meteor Shower this year was a bit of a dud. I was shooting up at 11,000 feet in the White Mountains and ran my camera for about 4 hours, from 10:40pm Friday until 2:50am, well after the moon came up.
