“Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world’s great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs. I am haunted by waters.” - Norman Maclean, "A River Runs Through It" #plusphotoextract
if I had to pick only one, it would be this one.

ReplyDeletewonderful work
ReplyDeleteThis is another shot in this set which requires special conditions. Joshua Tree National Park is in Southern California's Mojave Desert, so rainfall is scarce. I've found water here at Barker Dam on other visits, but never this much. I've also had people visit only a week or two after seeing my reflection shots from here, but they report the small reservoir as dry! So I was doubly lucky on this visit with both the abundant water and the picturesque weather/clouds catching the morning light.
