Starbucks in Turkey... They really are ubitquitious everywhere in the world?
ReplyDeleteNicholas Chase, they're actually not! I thought so as well- (England, Spain, Italy, etc) but I lived in Copenhagen this past spring and there were none to be found. It seems Starbucks has yet to take over their Scandi competitor, Baresso. Stay strong, vikings!
ReplyDeleteNeil Christianson Thank you for the clarification, I have been to Europe, but still want to visit many countries in the future. Coffee is a big part of travel, keeps you going on those long walking tours. Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteNo Starbucks in Iceland.
ReplyDeleteThen, if someone goes again to Turkey, you have to taste the turkish coffee... something different :) in the first time it is not that much good, but if you are one week there and you like the coffee, you will love it! (promised)
ReplyDeleteWell if you want to see really amazing cafés, come to Vietnam. Shameless plug: https://plus.google.com/108595456808850731771/posts/9f8XeNDExBo
ReplyDeleteIt's one of my very firsts HDRs, I guess there are lots to improve ̣̣lol. And it's my first photography project, to document all these wonderful cafés here (few tourists know about them, they are hidden everywhere though). Now I'm practicing as much as I can to make better photos in the future.
They just openned one here in Gothenburg (or is about to). But theres allot of similar coffee houses in Scandinavia so it might be tricky. Never mind though since if people want it, they thrive if they dont they dont.
