Although I primarily share images from my landscape photography, but in the Winter I also like to catch action shots of people playing in the snow-covered landscape. This is my friend Kevin Wherritt at the Alpine Meadows resort.

In big news announced yesterday for Northern California skiers and snowboarders, the Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley resorts will offer an interchangeable pass this year: http://www.skialpine.com/ski-tickets/season-passes/squaw-valley

I'd love to work with other photographers who might want to pursue shots like these, as that might help us schedule several athletes as models for shoots.

    Ed Carley There are two photographers in New Zealand on Google+ producing some great images. I'll try to look them up. Once you get a good list going, we can start a circle and share it, and that way anyone can add to it along the way, and share the expanded list back.

    Thanks also Jeffrey Sullivan ! I'm just a beginner at snowsports photography - the real experts that I personally know in NZ are MILES HOLDEN and Stefan Haworth .
