ReplyDeleteThanks for the info, have to try it.
ReplyDeleteGary Horder Personally, it's nice to know that someone is interested in my work.
ReplyDeleteVery cool! I only wish my graph also represented my investment portfolio: http://socialstatistics.com/?include=statistics&id=104645623851456965656
ReplyDeletePretty cool tracker!
ReplyDeleteGary Horder Some people like contributing to the community, and circle growth is one measure of how well your posts resonate with others. Some people have a career or business which might benefit greatly from additional exposure:

I'm here to interact with fellow photographers (or people who like landscape photography). Most photographers like having their work appreciated, and I meet more interesting people as my circles grow. If someone wants to buy a prints or hire me for a wedding or have me take them on a landscape photography workshop, my photography career thrives (and maybe my kids can go to college). So yes, networking is somewhat interesting to some people, and it matters critically to others. For any post that is not interesting to you, simply use the "Mute this post" feature and you won't see updates to it.
Here you also can get a chart, but for the whole time your numbers are tracked: http://www.circlecount.com/p/107459220492917008623
ReplyDeleteWow, I just checked out that tracker and see 1,300+ new followers just today!? I wonder if Google has added me to suggested users, or?
ReplyDeleteHad a nice day yesterday, did you? Helluva jump! And you deserve every bit of success.
ReplyDeleteMichael Menefee There was a big jump for many people about a week ago when Google+ opened up to anyone to join. Then there was an even bigger jump for some people earlier this week when circle sharing started. If you were in a large circle that many people in the circle shared or a few heavyweight users shared, you got a big boost. People on the Google suggested user list got the biggest boost of all, each gaining 30,000-80,000+ contacts over the past week or so. It's a highly and bizarrely un-level playing field to be sure, not what I would have expected out of Google.
ReplyDeleteJeffrey Sullivan Thanks for this link. I will check it out tonight!
