Orionid Meteor Shower Last Saturday Morning (HD Timelapse Video) The Orionid Meteor Shower this year was a bit of a dud. I was shooting up at 11,000 feet in the White Mountains and ran my camera for about 4 hours, from 10:40pm Friday until 2:50am, well after the moon came up. living in the city has made this weird to see the stars out while the sun is low but still out
ReplyDeleteChris Woodley This is a nighttime shot taken by the light of a full moon. The sky scatters the light to create a blue sky just like it does in daytime, so you can see the blue sky with as little as a 25% full moon. The rain drops refract light too, so I caught a "moonbow" in this shot was well.
