Off Season in Yosemite Valley
Every season in Yosemite Valley has its strengths. Fall and winter don't offer the Valley's waterfalls at maximum flow, but calm water certainly has its perks!  I prefer Yosemite Valley without the crowds, so I tend to visit most often from fall through spring.

Orionid Meteor Shower Last Saturday Morning (HD Timelapse Video) The Orionid Meteor Shower this year was a bit of a dud. I was shooting up at 11,000 feet in the White Mountains and ran my camera for about 4 hours, from 10:40pm Friday until 2:50am, well after the moon came up.
