Quite the fun arsenal, Jeff Sullivan Photography ! When you aren't carrying the camera, you'll never get lost in the dark!
ReplyDeleteMy collection isn't as grand as yours. I've put "whatever" flashlight in my pocket to a multitasking function. I can't blame having a day job in construction as my excuse for having a passion for flashlights, too. But, that's where many find their first use poking around above a ceiling.
I even wired 9v batteries to a demo'd fire-alarm strobe just to see what it might do (and still need to go play with it out in the real world) in its blinking nature.
I have a couple old Vivitar 283's I still carry in one of my camera bags, with color filters ('stolen' out of a Lee or Rosco color filter sample set I picked up at a photo expo years ago - they fit the flash's front frame very nicely - that I've put to use in the past.
You ever feel like a 'Wild West' photo gun slinger with that arsenal?!
I have two small day packs, and transfer what I'm going to use that night into one so I don't have to carry the entire collection.
ReplyDeleteMy camera gear is similarly divided so I can mix and match pieces to carry rather than tote everything including the kitchen sink. I even use a small pack on my back along with a moderately large hip pack so my camera gear can be cut significantly for short forays from the car, but I can still have a healthy selection of lenses and filters along.
