Gorgeous set! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteTo see the inside would be very cool... Thanks for sharing these Jeff Sullivan
ReplyDeleteJasper C Love That's very kind of you to say, thanks.
ReplyDeleteTravis Rhoads Most of the building interiors have been left alone since the early 1960s, so you definitely get an interesting snapshot in time from 50+ years ago.
ReplyDeleteJeff Sullivan is it normal to see the insides?
ReplyDeleteTravis Rhoads No, most buildings are closed to the public. We pay high access fees, are required to have liability insurance, and we hire monitors who used to be park employees to supervise our entry. We access interiors from sunrise until non, then return to the park after it closes at 6 pm for sunset and night photography until 1 am.
ReplyDeleteI see, I thought most of it was closed. . I am learning it's usually closed at night too... I was planning to go there this October but might do something else.
ReplyDeleteTravis Rhoads You could join us in Bodie on the nights of October 11 and 12: http://www.jeffsullivanphotography.com/blog/bodie-night-photography-workshops/
ReplyDeleteI would love to Jeff Sullivan , my trip is actually the very next weekend!
ReplyDeleteTravis Rhoads I hope that an early October storm doesn't wipe out the fall colors for you, like what happened last year around October 10!
ReplyDeleteJeff Sullivan you and me both! It was the only weekend in October that would work...so I gotta take what I can get! Fingers crossed for sure.
