Apparently compact digital camera and DSLR sales are down lately, and it's easy to see why.  Mobile phone cameras (and their sensors) have gotten pretty darned good.

    J Agnew yep. Still like the Sony direction a bit more.

    Kinda just want them to take the sensors from the NEX line and let me use my E mount lenses on something similar to this.

    These pics are great but the advancement in phone cameras might effect point and shoot sales but not DSLR (or mirror less) /professional grade cameras.

    I do most of my shooting lately with my phones. First my Nokia 808 made me go almost totally Mobile. Of late it has been my Nexus 6 and Manual Camera. No excuse for not having a camera anymore
