ReplyDeleteTsutae Nisiguchi A "lap" is having completed a circle, like in a car race on a racetrack. What I was trying to describe was exploring the area thoroughly each week to check the progress of wildflowers, frozen lakes and snow, water levels in lakes and ponds, and so on.
