Orionid Meteor Shower Last Saturday Morning (HD Timelapse Video) The Orionid Meteor Shower this year was a bit of a dud. I was shooting up at 11,000 feet in the White Mountains and ran my camera for about 4 hours, from 10:40pm Friday until 2:50am, well after the moon came up. ReplyDeleteMu Chowdhury During the last 2 weeks of February, the light of the setting sun can backlight Horsetail Falls just before sunset... if the waterfall is flowing, and if clouds don't block the sun! I've tried to catch this event 8 or 10 times, and in all those visits, only caught it on 2 consecutive days.
