Thank you Christian, This is a giant wheel form the gold mines of Bodie, America's best-preserved ghost town from the late 1800s when the American West was still a frontier. At one time the mining camp of Bodie grew to have the second largest population in California, behind only San Francisco!
Orionid Meteor Shower Last Saturday Morning (HD Timelapse Video) The Orionid Meteor Shower this year was a bit of a dud. I was shooting up at 11,000 feet in the White Mountains and ran my camera for about 4 hours, from 10:40pm Friday until 2:50am, well after the moon came up.
