Thanks Philippe, This was taken during the total lunar eclipse in December 2010. The weather forecast was for intense storms across the entire West Coast of the U.S., so I had to drive 2000 miles round trip to reach Tucson, Arizona, the closest place where I could be confident in reasonably clear shooting weather.
FYI in case you want to capture it Philippe Sainte-Laudy , the next lunar eclipse is tomorrow night: Total Lunar Eclipse Tomorrow Night April 14/15, 2014 Depending upon where you live on the planet, a lunar eclipse will occur starting either late April 14 or in the early morning hours of April 15. NASA provides the times in Universal TIme (UT): http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/OH/OH2014.html#LE2014Apr15T
For viewers in North America, here's the approximate timing for viewers on the West Coast (PDT time zone):
10:58pm (Mon) partial lunar eclipse begins 12:07am (Tues) total lunar eclipse begins 12:47am (Tues) maximum lunar eclipse 1:25am (Tues) total lunar eclipse ends 2:33am (Tues) partial lunar eclipse ends

Here's one of the more recent ones building on those pasts posts: Create a Timelapse Video of a Meteor Shower http://activesole.blogspot.com/2011/08/create-timelapse-video-of-meteor-shower.html I'm curious to see how an HD 720P video gets displayed on G+. I have a ton of timelapse footage that I haven't foun...
