“Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world’s great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs. I am haunted by waters.” - Norman Maclean, "A River Runs Through It" #plusphotoextract
Ok, this seems to be big. :O
ReplyDeleteNice! Did you crank the ISO? I was unable to get a nice shot when I was there. Hearing "no tripods" everywhere I went was killing me.
ReplyDeleteWOW !
ReplyDeleteJose Vazquez I carried my tripod, but they wouldn't let me set it up and use it. So I had to set the camera on the floor or on railings, putting the neck strap underneath to adjust the view up as needed, review the results, adjust, re-shoot. I did try both high and lower ISO shots to make sure that I got something (and my 5D mark II will shoot up to ISO6400, with significant noise), but it was difficult. The "no tripods" rule everywhere did seem very shortsighted in a country which relies on tourism and which would benefit from the best possible pictures being shared.
