“Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world’s great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs. I am haunted by waters.” - Norman Maclean, "A River Runs Through It" #plusphotoextract
very nice :)
ReplyDeleteIt's awesome how the tree exactly points to the north star.
ReplyDeleteClever, and amazingly good alignment!
ReplyDeleteI might have a seizure at any moment from starting at this, but it will be glorious!
ReplyDeleteI understand the skill and the vision it took to produce this, and you have my standing ovation.
I saw a great photo of a tall transmission tower, like the ones used for radio, with the north star placed directly behind the top, the circling stars proviging the impression of radiating radio waves. So I've been looking ever since for other tall objects to place the North Star behind. I have many ideas, some of which may take months or years for me to physically get to, so it's a theme I'll theme I'll be working on for some time to come.
