After speaking with Jean Day last night about her trip to Yosemite over the weekend and reading Michael Frye's blog post on the meager flow of Horsetail Falls last week, I think I'll skip my own planned pursuit of Horsetail Falls this weekend. It's a tough collection of circumstances to catch just right!

Yes, it was a really weak flow. I was there on Saturday and Sunday. I had never seen it before so I pressed on and saw a wisp! But with the wind kicking up some mist at times it was still worthwhile to see. Maybe one day I'll be back when the conditions are better. Last year at least the valley was a winter wonderland!
