It's not #selflesssunday , but please join me in welcoming Laura Tidwell to the photographer community here on G+. I was fortunate to meet Laura a couple of years ago as I returned from Utah to California. She and her family met me in Death Valley and we shot for a couple of days through there and up the Eastern Sierra.

By sheer coincidence, I'm going to be lead a photowalk for G+ photographers around the Eastern Sierra Nevada region June 1-4! I'm working out the details, and hope to make a more formal announcement in the next few days. The timing is very be promising for broken clouds due to monsoon season moisture, and we'll have several opportunities for sunset full moon rises and sunrise full moon sets. We'll visit Mono lake, the ghost town of Bodie, Tioga Pass will probably be open for access to Yosemite, and Devil's Postpile National Monument should be open as well. I'll probably get a meeting room so we can run a hangout to include anyone not with us on the trip.

Welcome again Laura! There are a lot of good folks here on G+ I'd like to introduce you to if you can make it to one of my upcoming photowalks in April, May and June (which I'll describe in more detail shortly).

    Nice, she followed me a couple days ago and I was thinking it was one of those people that steal other people's work and use a model's photo for their profile. That's great that she's legit, following her back with your endorsement!
