“Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world’s great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs. I am haunted by waters.” - Norman Maclean, "A River Runs Through It" #plusphotoextract

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Fun to bump into so many cool photogs ;)
ReplyDeletePatricia Davidson It was cool. I actually just scratched the surface... we had a mini G+ photowalk at the end of the reception, 8 or 9 of us. Charlotte Hoffman Penny Otwell... Claudia Frye confessed to being a big lurker... get a G+ account Claudia! The last half of February definitely has a high density of photographers. I also ran into Ken Hornbrook (http://www.flickr.com/photos/kenhornbrook/) and about a dozen members of the Pasadena Photography Club on the river the next morning, and apparently I just missed William Neill at the reception, since I was too busy shooting the Venus - Jupiter - Moon alignment to arrive earlier.
ReplyDeleteThat really would be fun to bump into the other photographers Jeffrey Sullivan! Maybe I'll bump into you and Lori Hibbett next year :)
ReplyDeletePatricia Davidson We're thinking of heading up your way this Summer, so maybe sooner than next year. : )
ReplyDeleteJeffrey Sullivan That would be awesome :)
