One of the better photographs, with sunstars, I`ve seen for quite a while, Jeffrey Sullivan! I love how it reminds me of the joys of spring..almost like a reverse autumn in this particular photograph.

ReplyDeleteThis small spring right next to the main road into Yosemite Valley, so it is a site which I always see photographers huddled around, and frankly I tend to avoid it. But the seasonal possibility of Fall colors and the momentary absence of other photographers caused me to stop on this day. Having the spring to myself only lasted a couple of minutes, and I stopped when people started walking into the field of view of my lens, but using a wider perspective and creating the sun star seemed like a way to make a heavily shot location slightly more interesting.
