Photo Sphere Now Works on iOS
Two years after its release on Android, Google's Photo Sphere app arrives on iOS. The photo spheres can be mapped in Google Maps using the new Google Maps Views, like these still photos, mostly mapped back when G+ supported that along with many originally mapped in Panoramio: https://www.google.com/maps/views/profile/107459220492917008623?gl=us&pv=2&tab=2&po=2

Announcement: Photo Sphere for iOS
Today we bring the magic of #photosphere to the iPhone and iPad with "Photo Sphere Camera". Get it on the App Store: http://appstore.com/PhotoSphereCamera
Photo Sphere Camera creates 360-degree panoramas up to an amazing 50 megapixels! We've also made it really easy to publish your favorite photo spheres straight to Google Maps and Views (g.co/views) to help other people explore the world.
I'm really loving this app as I travel. It's perfect when I'm visiting hiking trails or urban downtowns, historic locations or resort hotels. Below are some of my favorites...

Cool. Only two years later.
ReplyDeletewoot ... if iPhones were any good (or had any market share), they would have ported it long ago :)
