    I trust your photography but I must ask if this is an ancient carving or something more modern.  As it is the only one, it seems out of place somehow.  Anyway, the photo is beautiful!

    Dottie Hardage  It is presumed to be authentic, although it is fairly unique.  It sits above a ledge which I was walking on roughly halfway up a cliff, so it could either be a warning or a historical record of an event of a particular person falling there, perhaps hundreds or thousands of years ago.  Unfortunately the people who knew the full story no longer inhabit the area, so the exact meaning has been lost.
