Spring is a great time to visit Napa Valley.  This is when the vineyards fill with wild mustard, like this vineyard in Oakville, California.

  7. Eleanor Preger  Late February through early March is my favorite time to visit Napa Valley.  It's not too hot, not too crowded, and the wild mustard set among the dormant grapevines can be spectacular:
