    Frustrating day... I apparently have a Chrome extension which overloaded my (brand new i7, maxed RAM) laptop's resources, so I've been fighting it all day trying to shut applications and external drives down gracefully to lose as little work and as few files as possible. This isn't the first time it's happened either. If I can't get Chrome a more manageable and less destructive state, I may have to abandon it.
